As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will oversee the full-cycle recruitment. This position's responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interviews, and selecting candidates. 

As an HR specialist, you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly at all times. This position's responsibilities include preparing compensation and benefits packages, setting up company policies, and maintaining updated employee records.  

To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of full-cycle recruiting and solid knowledge of Uruguayan labor legislation. 

Responsibilities as Talent Acquisition Specialist 

  • Source potential candidates through online channels
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and interviews 
  • Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System 
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements 
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates 
  • Contribute to forecasting hiring needs and ensure the recruitment process runs smoothly 

Responsibilities as an HR specialist 

  • Prepare and review compensation and benefits packages
  • Inform employees about benefits, policies, and procedures
  • Update employee records regarding payroll and/or changes in employment status 
  • Help the Accounting team calculate the correct amount, incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc. 
  • Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions, along with salary records 
  • Help the HR Manager monitor budgets by department 
  • Process employees’ queries and respond on time 
  • Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation 

Experience and Knowledge: 

  • Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role 
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks 
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods 
  • A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations 
  • Knowledge of labor legislation and payroll process, specifically in Uruguay. 
  • Solid knowledge of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices

Knowledge of Software and Work Tools: 

  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (Workday is a plus)
  • ​​​​​​​Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software (Fluency in Excel is a must
